Women’s and Gender Studies is an interdisciplinary and cross-cultural exploration of the creation, meaning, function, and perpetuation of gender in human societies, both past and present. It is also an inquiry specifically into women’s material, cultural, and economic productions, their self-descriptions and collective undertakings. We seek to bring the conversation beyond the classroom. We seek to unearth the roots of gender-based discrimination. We seek to expose that which is so often hidden. We invite you to join us.
